Service Description

Book Cheshire First Aid to deliver our two day Mental Health First Aid course Contact us to get started! Become an MHFAider® MHFAiders® gain the knowledge and skills to spot the signs of a person experiencing poor mental health, the confidence to start a conversation and the tools to signpost to appropriate support. ​You will gain: * A deeper understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect people’s wellbeing * Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues * The confidence to step in and support someone to recover their health by guiding them to appropriate support * Three years of access to the MHFAider Support App® with 24/7 digital support * Access to exclusive resources, ongoing learning opportunities, and the benefit of joining England’s largest community of trained MHFAiders® Delivery can be online & face-to-face. We limit numbers to 16 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn. Course Duration is two full days, perfect timings are 9am to 5pm both days Who is this course for? The MHFA training is aimed at anyone interested in becoming a MHFAider® and is looking for ways to better support their colleagues, friends or family who may be struggling.
